Jenny has been featured extensively in the media, on programmes such as: Radio 4′s Woman’s Hour & Newstalk radio as well as writing articles and contributing to many national publications, such as Sun Employment and Glamour Magazine. She is also a blogger for the BOSS American woman’s online network.
Jenny has lived in England her whole life; however her heritage is based in the Caribbean, (St Lucia and Jamaica). She has a humble background, being brought up by her mother as a single parent, living in council accommodation and going to a Comprehensive school. started out in retail and then went into marketing. She studied part time in the evening for a business degree and worked her way up to securing senior marketing roles in commercial organisations such as Schroder Leasing and Hamptons International.
Jenny then decided to go into education and worked for the international business school, Ashridge. While there she took a secondment agreement to work with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership. This was an organisation set up to support Leaders in the Further education sector. She trained and took a number of coaching qualifications at Ashridge and completed a Masters in Management, Learning and Leadership at Lancaster University which she again studied for while working full time.
In 2006, Jenny realised that she loved coaching and wanted to pursue her passion, so decided to go part –time in her role at Ashridge to build her freelance business. Within just one year she was completely freelance and has been doing what she loves ever since.
Jenny delivers leadership training, coaching training and provides one to one coaching. Her clients have been in education such as the Learning and Skills Improvement Service and the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, private sector organisations such as Argos and voluntary sector organisations such as Help the Hospices.
She is currently working with ACEVO – the Association of Chief Execs in Voluntary Organisations to deliver a collaborative coaching qualification to the sector.
Jenny now lives in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, has been married for eighteen and has a teen daughter. She loves visiting art galleries and being around creative people.
